Will Freescan do everything that datamaster will do

No, but you can delete codes with Freescan where you can't with Datamaster (I wasn't able to find this feature this weekend ... if it's there and I can't find it, someone please clue me!). Datamaster is a lot more comprehensive than Freescan. You can get a lot more data out of Datamaster. If you are doing things on the cheap, Freescan should work fine.

EDIT: Is your car a 97? If you don't have the OBDI conversion done on it, neither bit of software is going to work as they are for OBDI cars only. Thought I'd mention.

It has a 94 PCM in it.I know nothing about tuning I have been using datamaster to scan my car and sending it to a guy soo he can send me tunes but my 20 free scans have been used and wanted to know if I should buy datamaster or not.
