Whatsup everyone I'm brand new to this forum but Im also on LS1tech which is how I found this site. Anyway's my brother has a 94 T/a A4, I just bought him a new motor for it. The motor is a 4 bolt main 355 w/ forged rods/pistons 11.5 compression, stock heads, ported intake manifold, and a LT4 hotcam, and LT's. I was just wondering what do you think it will run? I told him prolly mid 12s but I wasnt forsure. Anyway's he's a senior this year so dad and I are gonna put a 1,000 bucks into his car! So what do you think would really wake this thing up the most? I heard the LT4 cam was good, but after riding in it I dont really think its all that so I was thinking about swapping it for a 306 cam. However I know doing this wont put the car where he wants it to be. So whats the best/ easiest way with a 1000 bucks to get this car in the low 11s? Traction wont be a issue, Im letting him use a set of welds w/ mickey stickies!

I already have a spare ten bolt outa my T/a. But do you think a 100 shot is gonnna put this car in 11s? It really feels like a high 12 second car right now.. maybe lol I was being generous when I told him mid 12s

forged pistons an just a 100 shot? go for at least a 175 shot. If hes looking to et well hes going to need a decent converter, 3k or better should do it along with a good cooler that should eat up ur 1k pretty good by it self if ur buying new.

Well, I wasnt gonna get a converter yet. I found a thread on here where people are spraying on stock stalls and I dont wanna get him a stall because he drove my car and didnt like the feeling of it, (mine has a 3800) but i was thinking a 100 shot to start then move it up as he gets more use to it to maybe a 200. But I cant find anything to pull timing with on these motors? So far my plan is

1) Harris speed nitrous kit
2) Maybe some BMR stuff?Like the torque arm and lower control arms? OR do you think itll hit low 11s w/ stock suspension?

What do you guys think?? O an should I keep the LT4 cam in it or no??

HSW kits suck and they're service sucks. Nitrous outlet is the ONLY Nitrous company I will do business with, for good reason. Their plate kit hits HARD

No way is the car going to hit low 11's witha stock suspension. Suspension is the most important thing in drag racing. To get low 11's it is going to take some work. If I were you I would start by doing full sespension then move into a bigger stall, cam and spray. With all that and the right tuning, you should be close.
