I woke up at 11 in the morning, grabbed something to drink, let the dog out. then jumped in the shower. I came out to see 3 police officers in my driveway (there were about 10 more scattered throughout the intersection), a few ambulances, several fire trucks, and 3 crashed cars... I was standing in my living room asking myself.. WHAT THE FUCK DID I MISS?!?!?

I continued to get ready for work, then I went outside and asked the police officers if they could park farther up in my driveway when they get a second (they were pretty busy). I wasnt in a hurry, but I also didnt want to take them away from something important either.

Heres some pics..

I guess one of the vehicles involved was in a police chase for a hit and run moments before.. blew through the intersection WHILE DRUNK, and took out the other two cars. The drunk driver is facing some serious charges. He had a 3 year old in the back seat too!

Heres another link to it also!

Wow, so the one in front of your place was the car chase, that hit the two stopped vehicle.... not the one with the three year old in the back.....? Better news, I hate seeing lil kids in the midst of these things.....

I know how you feel. I drove up on an bad accident a couple weeks ago, right when it happened. It was the worse thing Ive ever seen in my life. I ran up to the cars that had hit head on going 45-50 and saw an elderly couple, had to be in there 80s, were both bleeding everywere, the old man was out and had severe compound fractures to his arms and bad injuries were he hit the window. I thought he was dead. The lady in the other car was surprisingly ok but very shaken. I called 911, turned the ignitions off and made sure nothing was going to catch on fire and waited for the ems.

Popo, no way could I deal with seeing things like that on a regular basis as a job. I guess an EMT would be worse.

Thats why the majority of us get paid well for what we MAY have to do , rather than what we do ALL the time.... because in the Emergency Responder Fields we are subjected to things 95% of the public does not see, nor do they really want to......

Wow, I read that all wrong! LOL!

Reading comp > me

However, the car was still involved in a hit and run and barreled through our intersection. I think the car in the pic that got all f'ed up was the guy who was fleaing the scene of the other accident.

I know the feeling, I got woke up one morning around 2 a.m. by two deputies wondering if I heard anything. Someone stole a car, caught it on fire, and pushed it down the hill in front of my house. I heard the door bell ring, went to the door, saw fire trucks, police cars, and rescue vehicles every where. I was like wtf, I can't believe I slept though that. Another time, I was watching football, heard a loud bang (sounded like a bomb went off), looked out saw two cars over the bank (they hit head on, one was a 4th gen firebird). Needless to say I live in a bad curve, car parts are like weeds across the road from me!
