I was helping a friend fix a few odds and ends over the weekend and when we took the car out for a shake down the fuel pressure would spike when we would hit around 5psi then drop to normal range and the car would run rough. Would do the similar at idle after it warmed up, but the fuel pressure wouldnt jump, just idle erratically.
The regulator seemed to be functioning fine, as far as we could tell. Time wasnt on our side so we didnt get a lot of time to fool with it.

Ive got a feeling his FMU is calling it quits or acting funky but I dont know.
it acted up once before and has been rebuilt. Any ideas what to look for? Its not my car so if you guys need any more info, its may take me a good minute to respond.

What I can tell you is its a 94, 355ci, wahlbro 255, 600b procharger, not sure bout the fmu, stock injectors for now

FMU is just a Band aid for fuel pressure, it is usually inconsistent, Ditch the FMU, get larger injectors and a re-tune..

were working on getting him some new injectors and tuning wont be so easy, no one around here touches ltx stuff anymore besides mail order.
