Cutting the spacer will only make it more difficult to reinstall. It will hae no effect on handling as you will still be using the stock rubber bushings, unless you upgrade to a poly bushing. The springs controll ride height not the sway bar. No offense to you but is this a serious post? It kinda sounds like a "CRAZ28" type question.:hmm:

OK as long as it's a serious question and your actually trying to learn I'm happy to help. "CRAZ28" was a user who started out asking questions which got more and more outta hand, like "can you get 5.7 and 6.0 rods to balance out in a 383 by switching legnths every other cylinder".
To lower your car you have to change/ modify your springs they control your ride height. The sway bar only limits the travel of your A arms durring a turn to keep the car level. To increase handling you must upgrade the bushings which will flex under load like a hard corner or upgrade the actual sway bar. Aftermarket bars are larger diameter which can handle more load and will usually come with poly bushings. ;)

I referenced the IP address and it does not seem to be him. I'm hoping he is foreign though because his posts are really difficult to even comprehend

I'm not from the US, but I asked that question because I got a PST polyghrapite kits with all the bushings and there was a one of the spacers missing, and the one in the kit was just a bit shorter than the OEM(seems to be) ones on the car. When I installed the one on the lest side and went to see on the right side I saw that the space between the tyre and the fender was wider on the right side. thats why I asked. anyway I got a pipe and cut it the same lenght to fit both sides.
So aint BS question here
