How hard would a swap like this be? AND have the shifting indicator would be nice too, since I am column shifter, and I think 96 Impala was floor shifting?

Hmm. Cause I honestly don't like the digital dash, and it's starting to malfunction in the odometer too..

Gonna need to replace it.. They do have kits for F-body clusters on b-bodies, but once again, no shifting indicator.

I can never remember what the positions on my shifter are, I need an indicator.

Swapping a 96 cluster into a 94-95 isn't worth all the trouble. There is ALOT of rewiring invloved and with the obdI to II not worth it at all. The easier way to do it would to go to the local junk yard and find a 95 Z28 camaro and steal the cluster from that. I know there is a few people around the internet that will do the wiring for you. I did that and its been great having the tach and a real oil pressure gague after I swapped in the 9c1 oil pressure gague for the shift indicator I picked up a cheap one of ebay and the guy wired it in for me

Maybe I'll just do that, if I get enough money..

Sad thing is, this isn't an impulse buy like I sadly do a lot, this is something I'm going to need as my instrument cluster is starting to fail on me.

Can the odometer be set to match MY odometer so it stays valid?

As far as I know it cannot with out serious surgery to the z cluster. I have a Z28 cluster in my 9c1. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! Swaps not too hard as well as the wiring. Go to the JY grab the cluster and the plugs from the marro dash (with as much wire as possible.) Then un solder the plugs from your broken cluster. Mate all the wires, mod a few traces on the Z cluster and bam. Plug and play. Hardest part was staying sane during the wiring process and getting "proper" fittment.
