they are not too common here and when they come up they are snatched up fast! ... this one came out of a wreaked car that got hit Saturday.
with my car being a 1995 and the motor made in 1997 did they use OBD1 or OBD2 i guess i should say will it fit in my car? 1995 formula LT1

yes it will fit and be fine, if u use the 95 computer u should swap to the 95 cover to get rid of the 97s Crank position sensor

timing chain cover, it holds the cps in the bottom. the 95 does not, so if u use the 95 computer use the 95 timing cover as well.

Didnt we have a thread about this awhile back and the op just ended up not plugging in the cps and everything else worked fine. I know in the end what I said ended up not being right about swappign the harness though it ended up being super simple.

i dont remember lol. i think so. i just know it would be easier to swap the cover while the motor is out if hes using the 95 harness an computer. That way he can get rid of the leaky CPS housing timing cover.
and to answer is this a good deal... idk, i just sold a stock running short block a few days ago for 300 it was a 95. An then im also selling a complete 95 trans am lt1 350 with harness computer, sensors, rad, fans, with all hoses an accessories an transmission an drive shaft and all for 1,200. Has 111,449 miles on it.

get a car either with front or all wheel drive thats for the weather. And Accord is your best bet they are really good on gas and they look good. If you want a good cheap car a Civic is the way to go they are really reliable and easy to maintain. I would look at Honda, Handai, Toyota

Bad deal IMO, but it all depends on your area. LT1's are a dime a dozen here!
