I ordered my opti from summit, it's a delco and it came with O-rings already on the shaft. Is it a good assumption that those are the correct o-rings ?

Yep...I had some bad ring seals on my opti...was leaking like a sith. It was alot of work to just change 2 seals the size of your pinky. Should be all one in the same.

Wo, wo, wo!! The opti has o-rings?? I thought they just used the seals in the timing cover cause I have an oil leak also!! Maybe I need to replace the o-rings cause I've already replaced the seals and still had the same leak. Fraz can you get me a pick of the opti and the o-rings if it's still out of the engine?! I like to see what you're talking about and maybe I can fix my problem. :frustrated:

Here's the cheat sheet I've been using http://www.impalasuperstore.com/naisso/Forum2005/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=30984&whichpage=1

You can see the o-rings in like the 9th picture down. . .
