So I've got Canton covers and these things are really nice. However little while ago one of my cooling lines tapped out, spraying on my left hand side cover and like heat baking into permanent existence.

I have tried many things now to get this shit off, engine degreaser + light brushing = nothing, even soaked a rag up in degreaser and let it sit for 10 minutes then gave it more light brushing = nothing.

I am at my wits end with this COOLANT STAIN!!! It stares me in the face every time I work on my car, I will seriously toss these covers if there is no way to get it off.

Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated!

Just a thought but try wheel polish

You could try brillo pad also. You will have to polish the find stratches out afterwards but it might take out the stain if it's not too deep in the metal.

I don't know those covers... but if they are just aluminum, you can should be able to wetsand them, and then polish them back up.
