I watch it to. I actually had a friend from highschool go and do that for a living.

As the name of the show is true....he drowned to death last year, it was in the local papers.

Phil died of a stroke in Jan.? Feb? Somewhere around that time frame.

Will the episode be the last time we see Phil? Or will he be on for the king crab season only? My understanding was he died towards the end of opilio.

Indeed. But at least he said he could still call John if his boat was sinking...that was nice of him.

I am a Northwestern fan as well. I liked the Rollo when it was on 3 or 4 years ago, but I haven't seen those guys since.

Good show, seen pretty much every episode since the beginning (mainly because they play it so much, and its a damn good show).

Its one of the few shows that I will actually watch these days.
