Ok, so I have an NOS 2 stage cheater plate kit brand new in the box. Bought it for another project a few years ago and it's been sitting ever since. Well, I finally decided to put it to good use and put it on my 95 z.
It's a 2 stage carb'd plate kit adjustable up to 250 horse. Part #02201NOS if anyone's interested. I called NOS tech and talked to them. The guy I spoke to told me just get 2 fogger nozzles, one for each stage, and I should be cool. He then gave me a kit part # that he said would have jet sizes listed as well as individual part #'s for the conversion. Well, he wasn't the brightest and gave me some 300zx specific kit number that is no help at all lol.
Basically, I'm assuming 2 separate foggers will do the job. One for each stage. I'm looking for jet sizing charts and I guess some other knowledgeable confirmation I'm on the right track.
I'm planning to go 75-100 on the first stage and 150-175 on the second for now. At least until the current motor pukes, then I'll just build a forged 383 and go all out lol.
As far as timing control I have an MSD 6al with a separate box that has multiple retard steps. So I have that covered too, along with a purge and a warmer. I'm not new to nitrous, just to converting a carb kit to efi use.
Any help or input is appreciated
