For LT1 4th gens or LT1-swapped thirdgens. Selling my custom made LT1 alt relocation bracket. This moves the alternator down low on the driver's side. Comes with the stock bracket that has part of it cut away, pulley, CS130 alternator from a '92 4.3L S10, belt, and homemade bracket with crappy welds. Will not work if you have the air pump still installed for emissions. Selling it because its sort of time-consuming to remove in case you ever needed to replace the alternator. I never let the crappy welds bother me because it was mounted so low and out of view. Alternator and belt are practically new - I think I might have driven to the gas station with this setup and that was it. Comes with all the bolts needed to mount it, all you need to do is relocate the wires that go to the back of the alternator.

Interested.... But, what's the gain of mounting the alternator down there?

Does it keep power steering?

Keeps power steering and a/c. Kit includes both modified stock bracket and homemade bracket.

If you used just the homemade bracket, you could buy a custom length belt and just run only the alternator by itself.

The purpose is to make the engine bay appear cleaner by not having the alternator up high and to not have to remove the alternator everytime the passenger side valve cover needs removed.
