I bought a forged 383 long block awhile back before getting a chance to get the build sheet the guy (a local man i know) had a house fire everything was toast. So i have no way of telling who makes this crank, or the rods for that matter. Here's some good pics of both, the pistons are 16cc dish srp that have 40D written on the bottom thats a given. And the rods have 12 point rod bolts that have USA written on the bottom (instead of ARP) and there H beams. The crank is a 2pc rear main crank that uses an adaptor plate and has a lot of holes drilled in it. Some of the bearings were grooved heavily into the copper deep but crank looks like it will be fine with a polish. Does anyone recognize the crank an rods so i can get an idea of the manufacturer and quality. Some ppl say its callies, some say cola and some say its an eagle assembly so far but none are sure. This engine was built MANY years ago id say 8-12 years ago and now is going to go get a good hone, the block is half filled with studded mains so should be good an strong. btw pics were taken with the crank laying down just to get a good look at it, the crank is stored in the block its never left laying down.

Why don't you take it to a machine shop and have them take a look at it?

thanks but ive tired 1 machine shop all they said is its a decent quality crank that will work well for what im doing but do not know the manufacture and told me to look in catalogs or online for the part number. i haven't found anything close to that part number online though.
