I know that if you unplug your ECT it will turn on your fans and run your engine as rich as possible. Now, if I unplug it would a 50 hit of dry be safe or can I run that without any other mods? I'm super new to this and it seems that making the engine run rich would be a safer rout but I'm sure there's someone on here with a little more experiance than I have on this subject. Thanks!

I prefer WET N2O any day over DRY!
However, i have used dry with good luck
1997 ws6 droptop(heavy weight),3000' DA 105*
60'--------2.0
1/4-------14.26
mph------96.53

DRY 125 shot
60'---------1.6
1/4--------12.51
mph-------106.3
DRY is effective however, WET is effective and efficient

LOL @ 50 dry shot

You live in laramie? We should meet up sometime.

You dont want a dry shot, you dont want to do it the "halfassed way" and you dont want just a 50, trust me. Anything less than 100 is honestly not worth wasting your time or money on nitrous.

Dry vs. wet: each has their advantages/disadvantages. If you don't know how to tune, or don't have a good tuner near by, then I wouldn't go with a dry shot. Dry tends to be harder to tune correctly and get "right".

Like gregrob stated, a 50 shot is kind of wasting money. You can run up to a 150 on a stock motor just fine as long as the system is installed properly with all the necessary safety components.

Well, the Camaro I got the system out of is mine now. Another 94 Z28. It was "tuned" for the dry shot and I did find out it's a 75 shot. I do have the wet t-body plate but no fuel solonoid. guess that'll have to be on the "to buy" list eh? I have no idea what that shot is but if I need I was told all i have to do is change the pill between the plate and fuel/nitrous line? Oh, I'm not in Laramie anymore, I'm in Shawnee Oklahoma. Guess I could change that some day huh? anyways, with 4:11's and a TH350 trans I'm glad I only live a mile from work lol. Any more info on the wet plate I have is welcome. I need to learn. Don't want to be replacing the engine to soon ya know?

Do you have any specific questions? I doubt we can tell you much about the wet plate you have seeing as we dont even know what kind it is.
