Ever been on a long and REALLY boring road? One that seems to go straight forever, and you see NOTHING at all but land? I was on one today for an hour, and after while it got to me, had to throw on some death metal to keep me aware.

GPS picture didn't really show up to well, but it's just a vertical line for the road, no turns whatsoever for the next like 17 miles. :chris:

I had a video on youtube of me driving on I10 in west texas back in 05. it was literally nothing for a few hundred miles. Youtube took it down due to copyright infringement because i had green day's boulevard of broken dreams playing in the video and had it in the title. the music wasn't good enough quality for somoene to copy it though so i don't see why it mattered.

The last third of the trip from Manhattan to KC sucks. Just open fields on both sides.

Atleast you had your video camera to keep yourself entertained.

Evidently you have never driven in Western Kansas/Eastern Colorado...or anywhere in the southern plains for that matter.

It did it to me yesterday, and simply just adding a tag made the video work..

Nope, never been there. Don't plan to either unless I move. ;) I don't like straight boring roads. I NEED my curvy roads, i like a challenge.

i'm from ulysses, ks. thats 40 minutes from colorado and an hour north of oklahoma. everytime i have to do something major on my car or see my folks... i have a 4 hour drive. with only 4 maybe 5 turns! i get to realy see my gas mileage though.

oh and when i went on spring break a few years ago to south padre... southern texas has some extremely boring roads as well! omg they made me sleepy.

One of my roommates is from Parker, CO. I drove out there from Manhattan one weekend to get some couches, etc. for the house back in August.
