View Full Version : wanted to introduce myself

Hello everyone,

My name is John and I live in Tampa Florida. I'm new to the f-body scene but I've owned and modified many performance cars over the last 15 years. Most recently I owned a 2006 Trailblazer SS that had a fully built transmission, e-fans, intake and cam. I bought an 95 TA last week. Pics below. The car already had Pacesetter Long tubes, x pipe and the exhaust dumps by the rear axle. I replaced all the hoses, intake manifold and gaskets, valve covers and fluids so I have a solid base to work with. I installed Eibach's sport line kit with some new agx adjustable shocks and struts. In the next few months I will be doing a heads/cam swap. I'm looking forward to becoming an active part of the community!

I found the car on autotrader so you may have. The price was right but it spent a week in my shop before I could fix all the issues it had. Coming up with a solution for the alternator clearance issue w/ aftermarket valve covers was my favorite :) i still have a few small bugs to work out but I'm happy with the progress this far.
