wondering about a car on craigslist

Found this ad on the local Craigslist. Lately I've been a little discouraged about the condition of my Formula -- it runs great but is taking so much work to make look good. I don't know about the miles on this TA, thought I might call tomorrow. It looks really clean, price seems a bit high for a 94 though. Anyway, is this purple pearl metallic? If so how does this color compare to the rarity of Quasar Blue? I'm not particularly considering getting rid of the Formula.. but this TA has kinda got me wondering. Probably has half the miles. What do y'all think?

Hmm, yeah that might be some dash missing. Looks a million times better than my dash though. And yeah, I was thinking overpriced as well, but it's from a dealership and they're offering a warranty on it, which isnt necessary -- should be negotiable and still not sure on the mileage. I definitely wouldn't pay almost 7k for a 94 lt1 though. And whoever listed that ad must have been on crack anyway, grey trans am came up when I searched for blue formula.

But yes, my formula is quasar. Her main problem is her junk-factor. She needs a whole new paint job, interior is crap. I've been working almost three years on her and don't really feel like I've come that far for all I've done.

Well, if you give it a paint job you get to pick the color. Same with the interior.

Way over priced but looks decent. Would prob look great if you swapped the rims! Color is pretty rare also. With that said I like your Formula more, but then again it looks good in pics so its hard to say. :hmm:

Spose you're right. It's just so close to home and look at that paint :drool: Tried to find the lot it was on today, to no avail. Such a tiny town.. weird deal. Did come across a POS flat black lt1 TA on the side of the road. Dude wanted $2500! And there was a pretty clean looking red lt1 TA at another lot they wanted like $8k. What's wrong with people?!

I'll keep my junker. She's too fast to look pretty anyway. Thanks for your input guys
