i've been using 555r's and its time for tires. i was thinking about going to the NT-01. i've never been to the track so it would be like 99% street application. its also a weekend car (for now) and i live in florida where it rains A LOT durring the summer. it's a basic bold on car (also for now) with a stock (poorly shimmed) rear. i also have aftermarket rear LCA's to help with traction. any thoughts or any other suggeations for tires? looking to stay in the 245/50/16.

I'd look at the NT-05's... http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/reviews/123316-nitto-nt05-review.html

dont make them in a 16" and in their own compairson to the 555, the 555 rated better in ride comfort and quietness, better in wet performance and barely less in dry performance. nice looking tire though, if they did a 16" i'd def coinsider it.

Chevy performance mag, newest issue has a article on the newest nittos. They have an opion on them being the perfect blend of BFG dr's and 555's. I have 555'rs. Two passes, year of driving maybe 20-25,000. Mine are just past wear bars. Daily driver.
