I love Simple Green :)

Recently I noticed how disturbing my engine bay way to the naked eye. So I attacked it with the most badass equipment I could find. And its amazing!

I still need to go over the whole motor. This was just a sample with a microfiber cloth I found laying around haha.

I need to get the firewall, down in the cracks, and get the engine shined up if I can.

Simple Green is AWESOME... works wonders for neglected engine bays... except the polished goodies :(

Yeah... I just couldn't resist posting it.

I once found a pic of an S-10 with polished fuel rail covers on his LT1... it took me FOREVER to figure out I was looking at his hood... not an LT1 with totally hidden wires along the intake (the missing injectors were a big hint :doh: ) It was a bright yellow hood... and bright yellow powder coated LT1 intake... very confusing in pictures... but looked great in person. :D

It's not the same pic (wrong angle)... but I'm sure you can see why it was confusing. Oh, and after looking up the pic... the reflection was the underside of the airbox... but you get the idea.

Not sure exactly what part you mean. I believe it's an Impala ram air setup (from SLP), and a stock powdercoated LT1 intake with polished fuel rail covers. Trippy to look at though, isn't it ;)

I've never tried that stuff, but it looks like it worked really good.

I'm used to cleaning up the LS1/LSX motors, and I found that using WD-40 works really well. It leaves an awesome shine.

Yeah... that's what threw me for a loop. There's nothing special about the intake at all. It's a normal intake... it just has mirror polished fuel rail covers. Look closer at the first pic. You are seeing the reflection of the airbox and the hood. :devil:

They are chrome fuel injector covers. You can still see the fuel rails. But I see what your saying.

Dont they say WD40 is bad for rubber???? I wouldnt use it under my hood.

looks great. i stupidly used bleach white (the tire/wheel cleaner) on my engine bay. it worked great, but stained my aluminum valve covers.
