Grabbed a 1994 White Civic Hatch. I am going to clone it to look like a 96' Civic type R.
Dont worry I will still be at the shoot out. Should have the civic up and running by June, Plans are a h22a Jdm long block custom turbo kit. 5sp trans, Jdm Lips and fresh Gm arctic white paint job.

Hmmm... So this was your new toy.....
:hmm:
Although I wasnt ever a huge fan of imports, I have respect for the ones that are done right. I'd never own one, but I remembered being beaten by a turbo'd civic when I was in my Formula. The next week I bought a headers, full exhaust system, and CAI out of frusteration.
Good luck with the project man.

Hell yea man. 1700 pounds + 400hp = one fun ass daily driver
Even with the turboed swap youll still be cruising around getting 20-25mpg and youll be able to hold your own (from a roll). I was looking into a h22 swap for my car because of the torque but the honda guys at work talked me out of it. Its such a big engine without alot of suspension work the car will no longer want to turn, and you dont have room for ac. Most guys using them just go straight anyway.
good luck with the build

Something is wrong with that car....smoke is coming from the rear tires...did he have the parking break on? LOL
I would love a Turbo'd Si for a DD. Buddy of mine has a new 08 Si with bolt on's, full exhaust, tune, and a 75 shot. He beats up stock F bodies on a daily basis :secret:

I say "meh" only because I like my imports with throttles that stick (I have a worked over 6th Gen Celica) and I'm not a honda fan. GL with the project....ANY car done right deserves respect be it import or domestic.

Not really a fan. I own a Honda Civic, and will probably buy another in a year, but I use them for their cheep reliability and fuel economy. Never really understood buying an import for speed (unless you plan on putting a V8 in one like Toronto posted), even then its just not right.
I have to admit I like Fastbirds Celica, but again, its more for the way it looks and rides. It's not anything to what I would consider fast.
Now if you are talking fast imports, I will openly admit I have always lusted for a MKIV Suptra TT to make silly fast, so from thtat aspect I do understand. But from dumping that kind of money into a honda to still make it slow... :disagree:
