Im working on getting the engine tuned in my 94 Z in sig. Im having a reputable tuner email tune it off of datalogs.

We keep adjusting the fuel trim bc the BLMs are showing rich, but it keeps not having any effect. We are quite certain there's a mechanical issue, and Im hopefully about to install new O2's as those are the likely culprit. My maf is ported, and its been running rich since the last owner had it "dyno tuned". Im also seeing a bunch of false knock. I just installed an LT4 knock module, but it had zero effect on the 9* my PCM is pullin @ wot over about 3000rpm. The car also stumbles and hesitates @ part throttle under about 2000rpm. Im about to try a few things on the knock sensor(adding a 90* elbow inbetween sensor and block w/ thread sealant on both, then new sensor if that doesn't help, and possibly using an adjustable resistor w/ the desensitize KS mod-any chance there's a pt where you could eliminate false but still retard for a bad knock?), so Ill post what I find, but does anyone have any ideas about what will fix any of the three? Thanks guys..

Ditch the ported MAF and put a stock one back in....

Thats what I was thinking, but solomon says we can tune for it. Just the fueling corrections haven't transfered to the AF ratio as they should've. Big changes to small-no results. But, Im working on meeting up with a friend to borrow and log with her MAF... Thanks for the help

FWIW I've never been able to get the computer to stop pulling timing with how little preload I run, I always have just zero'd out the KR tables. Run conservative timing, a cold plug, and good fuel for what you're trying to do.
