I installed it on my home computer last night, been playing with it. Pretty cool stuff. Hide the taskbar, put launchers in place of all the damn icons.......no complaints. Pretty cool stuff.......

I use Objectdock which works for me pretty well. I'll have to try rainmeter out and make a comparison.

Hardly any. It's only a 12mb file. I'm not sure about the other specs, but it hasn't had any negative effect on my speed.

I didn't notice any performance degrade on my desktop. Still debating if I want to keep it or not though, because it doesn't really replace the windows desktop interface, more like runs on top of it, so you still have to work around your windows stuff anyway. Almost unnecessary, but cool none the less.

I used to use Litestep back in the day.

It's going to look small. I'm still playing with fonts and colors, and want to add a few more widgets to the desktop too. The picture with the new Camaro is a random picture frame that's currently cycling through My Pictures folder, but I'm going to set up a more specific folder with juts pics I want in it. This is a f-ing cool tool. The taskbar is simply minimized is all.
