Wife's new car was loaded up last night in Georgia. She is on her way home. :D She has waited a long long time to get her dream car and now it has become a reality. I'll post more pics when it arrives.

How long ago did you buy it? It seems like a month ago. Did you guys have troubles finding a transport?

Congrats to her though! Hope she enjoys the car

Payment was sent a few weeks ago. It took 2 weeks to get transport set up. Shipping companies like to have 2 weeks to set up, or you can pay a lot more money to get it done asap.

I think I paid $550 to have it (1997 Camaro Z28 M6) shipped from California to Kansas City.

Maybe I got lucky and they just happened to be able to fit me onto a trailer well. Just seems like 2+ weeks before even picking the car up is a lot.

cool. probably a good thing its on the top and not the bottom so its further away from the road salt. also it won't get pissed on by some oil leaking car on the top.

Well, after all the hassle with the shipping company, the car is home safe and sound! Michelle has strep throat so it took everything in her to get out and see her new car and take her for a spin. Here are some pics.

Nah, she likes it as is. Really, it has everything but a new motor. I will be replacing the shocks in her coil overs though but thats it.

yup. We got aluminum heads for it though. That pic was when we threw it in there for measuring up headers etc. Intake is just sitting on there. in fact the heads we have we got awhile ago and they were the heads that were originally on the wifes new trans am.
