ever since the board got changed over i have been having problems. say im replying to a thread with 8 posts in it. I get done reading the last post and go to type my post in the little white post box at the bottom. When im dont and submit it, it always shows up as getting posted right under the original poster. It only shows up at the end of the thread if i quote the last person

It only does that right after you post it. If you look at the # of your reply it will fall into line with the others. If you click "new posts" right after you reply to a post and then click on that thread your post will fall back to the end like it should.

Mine does the same thing and I just had to agree to the rules again.
The new board looks nice but I do not think its as easy to use as the old one was?

They just added that feature and it required everyone to agree to the rules. I'm assuming it's so if they want to update the rules in the future they can require everyone to agree with it and keep track of whom agrees, etc.

If you guys have anything in particular they could do to make this board/skin more user friendly be sure to post them up, I'm sure they'll look into it. I personally don't feel it's too hard to navigate, but then again I write dynamic websites/applications on a daily basis so I can typically figure things out pretty quickly so I'm not the best person to be asking. Obviously they want the website to be user friendly enough to allow everyone to contribute to the community.

That's all from vbulletin. I did not implement that. You have to consider too that different browsers interpret code differently. I don't have that happen on Firefox, but that could be due to the version I'm using, or whatever. It's my understanding that the way it works now is that it puts your reply under the person you reply to. For example, clicking reply with quote will position your reply under the person you quote, until you refresh the page. This might be setup in this manner to make it easier to read your conversation after you just replied directly to that person. Putting your reply under the first post means to me that you are making a general reply, so it puts it under the OP. Again, that's just my inference on why that happens. You can always try the latest Firefox browser if it isn't to your liking.

That's completely correct Eric. We revise the rules and let's face it, nobody reads them except maybe the first time when you sign up. We are a growing community and we take input from our users to grow and mature, that includes the forum rules. It makes no sense to update them if people aren't aware of what they say. This simply let's us make sure that when we update a forum rule or add a new policy that everyone is aware of the change and that they accept the change. It just helps us make sure everyone is on the same page.
We do accept any kind of suggestions and I like to think I'm pretty good about fixing and implementing those ideas. Keep 'em coming!

Tell me about it. lol. The reply thing seems to work fine in Chrome, btw.
My biggest complaint is with the profile pages, on the Visitor Messages/About Me/Friends/Feedback Score tabs you can't read the text on the active tab unless you hover over it.. Also when you hover over a friend on the friends tab you can't read their info --- but I'm not picky.

if you post quick reply, it still does it. if you go advanced, it doesn't

if you post quick reply, it still does it. if you go advanced, it doesn'tHe was talking about some minor conflicts I posted. The defect you guys are talking about was a new feature of the latest version of VBulletin .. the messageboard software we use. It'd take a bit more coding to change that.
