Hey all-
Thought I'd post up "the love" for LTXtech. I designed these at work while I was bored and had them laser-cut. Interesting? I think so. And yes, it is Fruit Stripe gum in the background of the zoomed out photo. Surprisingly, you can still find that shit.

those look great, you should become a sponsor and sell them :) 50$ a month covers it ;).
sell them for ~20$ a piece

I wish I could...but these were cut sort of "off the books" if you will. I feel guilty about this lousy $0.50 of stainless I took home.
I don't exactly work for a small job shop. It's a pretty big factory, and a pretty big corporation.
However, if people are interested, I can design some custom brackets and stuff for people on off-time for usage on pretty much any laser cutter. I'm going to have to custom design my brackets for LS1 coils for my EFI connection setup, due to my valve covers being perimeter bolt and having TCS.

wow those look awesome
Thanks! I've done some other stuff that hasn't turned out so well...like the camaro emblem keychains in the photo. Those didn't turn out so great, mainly because the parts are so small and thin, and the laser basically blew out some slag on the backside. Kind of like when you drill a hole through a 2X4. The hole looks awesome on top, but a bit buggered up on the bottom.

Here's my personal cad album up on photo bucket. I can draw up quite a bit of stuff.
Sheet metal brackets come out really nice on lasers.
If anyone has any custom brackets they are making and have sketches and dimensions (as accurate as possible), I'm not opposed to drawing them up for laser cutting applications. There are also a few local shops in the area that I could get things cut at.
