2010 Race Season - North Eastern Folks

Where is everyone going for their first passes this year? Post up any events that you know about, or tracks you plan on attending. Let us all know, and maybe a few of us will get the hell out of bed and go.

Pittsburgh Raceway Park - 1st day is April 3rd for a Test-n-Tune, Gates open at 8AM, races begin at 11AM and run until 5PM


Any info on surrounding 1/8th and 1/4 mile tracks, post em up

Tomorrow, April 3rd, is Pittsburgh Raceway Park's opening day!

Event starts with a parts swap at 8AM, followed by a Test-n-Tune from 11AM - 7PM. You read it right, thats 8 hours of full blown racing! Racer's entry is $25, and spectator entry is $7. Come out and get your runs in, and meet all the local racers if you live in the mid to western PA area! Come out and get your ride dialed in and be ready for some amazing passes!

I'm pretty close to Maple Grove and Numidia. I usually frequent Beaver Springs a few times a year including a track rental once a year.

Pittspeed will hopefully have a track rental at some point this year...just have to wait and see.

New England Dragway opened April 2nd

I will be heading to NED as soon as I get the chance. Even if its without my car to watch, Id like to see whats there this season. Theres a couple kids I usually go with, and Im not hard to spot with the Hawk or the 350.

Should have the car there ready to go within the next few months. The summer is usually pretty busy (and is right now) at the shop.
