Well guys, I am waiting on parts to complete the TT setup. In the mean time, I decided to build the Cast Manifold Budget Kit (complete kit with a TC 76). This is a budget kit for $5000, but you'll have to delete your A/C. Not a bad price for a kit that will support 600-650rwhp. Here are the first build pics so far:

Jon, if you could figure out a way to keep the A/C with that setup I bet you'd make a KILLING as this would make for a killer little street setup.

I have a version that keeps A/C. That version looks identical to the header kit, so the kit is more labor intensive than the one in the pics. People might as well just get the header kit at that point.

Anything new?
As in new kits or new pics of this one?
I finished the hotside, but forgot my camera yesterday. I am waiting on all the cold side stuff to come in. I am going to install this kit on my T/A (unless someone buys it). Pics of cold side stuff in the next week or so.

The kit in this thread is $5k + shipping for the complete kit!

Hotparts as shown
40mm JGS wastegate
Turbonetic TC76
Cold side piping
56mm JGS BOV
31x12x3 intercooler
silicone connectors/clamps

Kit will be bolt in ready.
For additional $$ I can wrap the hotparts in black wrap.
If someone just wants the hotparts/wastegate alone, then it is $2000+shipping

Great prices man, if I decide to go a different route this winter (I have given thought to FI or just a turbo in general) I will be talking to you.
Right now Im thinking just LE2 heads/intake + GM 847... But not sure, still undecided.

sweet looking setup... have you had any trouble with the welds to the cast manifolds cracking? it is pretty tough to weld cast iron to steel. Just curious because I have done it in the past but didn't have any long term success. I was using high nickel rod and preheating the cast iron tremendously for better weld penetration and more uniform strength and heating cooling properties during the welding but it still didn't last that long before breaking on the cast iron side near the weld.
nice compact good fitting setup beyond that concern!
Keep it up!

Thanks Chris.
I have one other kit out there that has been run with the manifolds. I believe it has about 5k miles on the setup. Seems to be holding up fine. I did the pre and post heating like you did, and I had the power turned way up on the mig (could see the weld melt into the the cast iron). I also have a flex section on one side, and a support bracket supporting the turbo.

That oughta hold up fine if there isn't alot of movement on it then! nice setup again props on it.. I am sure it will be a success!
I was very pleased to find this site as we have certainly been lost in the shadows of the LSX hype..
what is your setup? am curious because I am in the process of tuning in my new T76 setup on my vette and so far at 10psi I am thinking she is near 600rwhp in comparison to my blower car.

Chris, I havent installed a kit yet on my car. The engine consists of a Golen forged 383, stock heads, 218/230 cam. pretty tame.

Thanks dude. Since nobody has bought it, I'll just install it on my T/A and see if I can get to the dyno before the snow gets here.
