95 PCM on 94

I'm going to pickup a spare PCM from a 95 Camaro.. Will they work ok on a 94 Caprice, considering it's OBD 1.5?

I'll load it my tunes, but I want to make sure it'll even work first before i go and fry a PCM from incompatible tunes.

Yes the PCM will work, Of course the tunes are different from a B to an F body....

I know about the tune, I can flash it with my B-body tune..

I just want a backup PCM incase something goes wrong.

Anyways, I went to the junk yards, all V6 camaros.. so no PCM for me.

94-95 F Body and the PCM out of Buick Roadmasters are the same and can be used in your car...

I just have to find a V8 model of said car.. All my junkyards here have V6 models.. (I don't understand how they have a V6 B-body, those 94 and 95's came with LTx's...)

Just make sure your '94 PCM doesn't have a revision B calibration, some of the early ones did, and if you flash a standard calibration PCM with a rev. B tune you can corrupt it. Otherwise it will work fine assuming you flash it with the B-Body image.
