CINCINNATI -- A car split after it crashed into a utility pole Monday afternoon.

The accident happened on Glenway Avenue near Rutledge Avenue in Price Hill.

The crash appeared to be very serious, but police say no one involved had to go to the hospital and the driver walked away with no major injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

My guess, speed was a factor, theres no way that car is that messed up from going the speed limit of that area.

I can't see how that car couldve been going anywhere even remotely under 60 when it hit that pole

You would think that a speed that car had to be travelling that the pole would have sheered off? it looks like a wood pole to me???

i saw a city dump truck bound into one at 35mph, the pole is still upright, the truck is toast. telephone poles don't like to give at all.

i've seen two broke because of car accidents if i remember correctly, PA must just be cheap. lol

wow thats crazy, its amazing that the driver walked from that. It kinda looks like a steel pole to me, but it could be wood. My gf's uncle hit one at 70 mph in a grand am, and it split the pole, along with the car.

It wouldn't suprise me if PA was cheap. lol
