anybody familiar with this setup? pros/cons personal experiences ect. was looking to eventually do lower control arms and stumbled across these. looks to be a good idea but after some searching on here an other forums i didn't happen to find mention of using let alone knowing about something like this. doesn't bother me that it will be illegal for some racing classes as long as it benefits the traction department on the street and track.

:::EDIT:::
nevermind. i found the answer i needed after more searching.

that was kinda the idea why i even looked at them. wanted to do an 8.8" or a 9" and instead of having torque arm mounts installed plus the cost of an aftermarket torque arm i thought this would essentially do the same thing. looks like it would cover some bases for people who havent even bought lower control arms yet. everywhere else i posted was met with no responses or a bunch of people telling how great a torque arm is.

So with these installed on a semi built stock rear end?
Do you guys think the stock rear will still break?

Yeah, now I'm curious, anyone actually have any experience with these?

I did a similar set up with an 86 iroc i had many years ago,i used a 12 bolt from a 65 El camino it was the perfect length.. I had a 454 in there and it NEVER failed,NEVER broke it would cut 1.4 60' times on true slicks.... back in '88 there were not many choices out there glad to see this one is finally catching on.
Here is the problem;
If you do "class racing" they may place you in "modified suspension" class since it does not resemble any factory componet.. thats why i will also have the TQ arm mount so i can swap if needed..
This set up when done correctly acts just like a car with true ladder bars it will plant the tires!
