Sounds a bit high...but I'm just getting started with boost. I'll be running a motor with about 8.5:1, 72cc heads, and it'll probably max out around 15 psi.
If you're running 11.3:1 and boosting 6, you'l probably be well into the 13's:1. If no kaboom, race fuel fo sho.

Im running 10:1 right now.... and 8 lbs on 93 octane, with no issues. Then again it was dyno tuned and monitored till dialed in. Also trailered it to the dyno, to be sure....

The only reason im considering it is because the kit is cheap right now but if it gets very high then i'll just put together a nitrous kit from nitrous outlet and spray a 100 shot which may end up putting out more hp then 6psi could anyway.

I'd say its too high to be safe. I'd say more like 10:1 would be better for only 6-8#'s.
Generally speaking;
stock CR-11:1 - 4#'s (this is really pointless as you will feel little to no power for all the money being boosted costs in the first place)
10:1 - 6-8#'s
9.5:1 - 8-10#'s
9:1 - 10-14#'s
8.8:1 - 16#'s
8.5:1 - 20#'s
8:1 - 25+#'s.
This is really general, and you need to keep in mind this is all asuming the precautions have been met with proper fuel system (injectors, fuel pumps ect.), as well as meth injection, intercooling, ignition upgrade, safe tune, ect.
It costs a bit more $ to go boosted than to do something more like heads, cam and intake swap.
You can do anything once though...
