Figured I'd share this with you guys. It was very dumb for these guys getting caught because they race at the exact spot, every day at the same time. They were bound to get caught. They recently started to make some challenges with a trophy and money prize. A guy on the local forums is a car guy by nature, police officer by day. He had been a longterm member, and was the one that busted them after they posted up when they're next challenge was going to be. People can argue all day long about how bad street racing is, but come on, we all kick it off every now and then. These guys did it as a fuckin profession which is dumb. And it just sucks 2 good friends of mines were 2 of the 4 that were busted.. They're all bad ass cars too. The chevelle on spray in the video is insane.

This video is of their first "challenge" they got busted in the process of their second one in the making, 3 weeks later.

Here's the challenge video.

that sucks for them, but thats one of the many reasons i dont street race, plus thats what the track is for.

We had a couple of the higher profile guys here in St. Louis get set up recently too. I don't think I'd ever pre-organize a race like that. I'll pretty much only play if it's someone I know or if it's an impromptu run-in on the road.

They were just begging to get caught. I feel bad for them.... But you cant have something that big remain unnoticed.

First off, anyone who thinks street racing is safe shouldnt be allowed in a car. I'm not saying "DONT STREET RACE!" because I've done it many times, but theres no doubt theres better places to do it. Especially if you plan on organizing an event. This should have been done at the track... And to set up the same "challenge" for the 2nd time in the same spot.. You should be expecting it. And not to mention all that info going out to the public!

How stupid can you be? Really, look at all the traffic in the video. It looks like they wanted to get caught. I'm sure most everyone has street raced at one point in there life. However, when it's an organized event, come on, thats just askin for trouble. Just my opinion.

Yeah, we gotta look out for those cops on forums.. :secret:

I've raced at that spot, and it's considerably safer than any normal highway due to the dividers up to the bridge, but still not perfect. They were definitely begging to be caught though..
