Heres my situation. My father wants to sell a 16x6x8 utility trailer. He just bought a 24x8x8 trailer for his business.

I want to get his old trailer off his hands to expand my own business. This trailer is more than I would need, but then again, it wouldnt be a bad thing to have more space than I need either with one, since It would allow for more room to grow later.

What would be a fair price to offer? I tried checking ebay, but MOST were horse/bike/snowmobile/huge ass car trailers.

Its a 2000ish year trailer, and is in overall good shape. It has one door to get in from the side, and the back opens up (not a ramp).

Help me out here.. Where do I look for a "KBB" type site? Or what do you think its worth?

It weighs 4000lbs empty, so I'm kinda worried about my Trailblazer pulling it as often as I think it would be. Its rated for 6200lbs, and I have no doubt it would be able to handle it occasionally, but I'm just worried about the stress it would put on it if I did do it on a daily basis.

I'm looking to use it for my detailing business, and I figure it would weigh 5200-5500 lbs all said and done between shelves, cabinets, and supplies.
