I orginally was going to put this engine in a friends 95 Silverado but he backed out after calculating all the costs associated with the conversion so I instead decided to put it in my 67 Short Stepside C10. I have the engine already mounted and looking at my cooling situation the cooling hoses is reversed, looking at some other swaps it looks like guys have just used the reversed setup in there conversions. Is this doable or will it create a problem? The radiator is more than ample to handle the job as it did handle a 500+hp 427 small block that I am pulled. I dont want to spend money on a new radiator because I am planning on selling the truck and dont want to throw a ton of money into it. I have had this truck for many years and want to move on from it but dont feel like letting a completely forged low milage small block go in the deal and not getting anything more than what I would get with the LT1 in it. The truck is a looker with custom built frame, Pro-Streeted, 4.10posi and the body is solid with minor paint scratches. If I could sell both the LT1 and 427 setup I would just keep the truck and drop an LS into it.
