View Full Version : Nitrous Works Plate?
Has anyone used the Nitrous Works plate on an LT1? I'm only planning a small shot (100hp) so I'm wondering if this would work. This isn't my first choice in plates but they have been around for a while and can even be found used sometimes since they have also been used in TPI's.
I know you get what you pay for but am just wondering what everyone thinks of them? Most likely I'm going to go with a single fogger at this point if I can't do the "other" plate.

I am sure many will agree with me about the "old style" plate systems with the spray bars, these are not very good. at a 100HP setting i doubt you will have problems but i strongly suggest you READ THE PLUGS pay close attention to #3,5, 6 and 8
I really like the nozzle set up shark nozzle is great or spend the money for the NITROUS OUTLET PLATE which is an AWESOME design
In addition i have had the old plate on my TPI cars in the late 80s early 90s, went to the nozzle and was light years ahead in overall performance! Now the new plate design from The NITROUS OUTLET will give the same/similar performance up to 150 then exceeds the single nozzle beyond that point!

If you want to go with a plate use the nitrous outlet one
I'm actually looking at using a single nozzle now if I can get it to mount where I want. I like the Nitrous Outlet plate and its definitely my choice for plate systems. Since I'm only planning to spray 100 hp the single nozzle should be fine really. I'm just wondering if it can be mounted in a silicon boot or if I need to consider threading and tapping the mass (backside) for the nozzle mount.

im runnin a single nozzle thats tapped in the silicone elbow, works fine for me and doesnt leak
Right now it looks like I'm going with a single fogger tapped into the back half of the MAF. With the Ram Air box on my car (WS6 style hood) there's not really much room to put the nozzle and the nuts in the hose anywhere. I'll do a writeup on the install once its done I guess theres more than one way to skin a cat.

That is where i had my NX-shark nozzle... i really took advantage of that spot! show up to talk crap get a race disappear for a few then swap the MAF hook up the selonoids and shes ready....;)
