i need some tire help. I know this isnt the brightest thing to do but i needed something pretty quick. i bought a used tire 275/35/18 because my front tire got slashed(how? who knows) I didnt buy new cause they were to darn expensive right now. the tire i got has 10/32 so its about the same as my other front. Anyway it showed up today(ebay) and i see a few issues with it and was wondering if you guy could take a look and see if its ok to use. It says on there site all there used tires are at or above federal standards ect.

Ditto. I've ran tires that were patched closer to the sidewall than that. You'll be fine. If anything, have a tire shop repatch that hole if you don't feel comfortable. That little ding in the bead shouldn't effect seating at all.

It looks fine to me. My only question is, did they say in the listing that it was patched?

wouldnt bother me at all we use those kind of patches all the time at work and never had a problem

I'd try and get some money back since that information was not disclosed at the time of auction...

Yeah same here, I'd be pretty pissed if someone didnt tell me that. They definitely wouldnt get good feedback from me if they didnt give something back...

thanks guys, nope they sure didnt say anything about it being patched..I would try to get something back from them. The tire is used, but there's a difference in used and having a defect. I would be pissed if they didn't tell me that.
