I was pulling on to the highway in my trans am(mods in sig) and my friend pulled up next to me in his GST[mods: 16g turbo, intercooler, full exhaust, suspension work, and I forget what else(he calls it the beast)]. well anyway he kept trying to egg me on to race, and I ignored him. After he pulled ahead of me I figured what the hell. I shifted into 3rd and pulled up next to him at 4k. I gave him a second to build his boost, then I saw him move forward so I floored it. I probally pulled 6 car lengths on him when I let off. Then I got the ricer flyby, then the next day the story ended up as him "blowing by me".

What it is, is that people give 4g63 motors wayyy to much credit. Alot, not all, but alot think they can just slap a slightly bigger turbo on one and suddenly they think they can beat anyone or anything.

yea my buddy seems to think hes gonna make between 450 and 500 on a stock bottom end but all we can do is hope one dat they'll come to their senses and buy an f body

He says its a 12 second car, but I doubt that considering how hard I pulled on him. The previous owner said he went 12.9 with my car stock bottom stock heads and stock cam w/ all the bolt ons in my sig. I don't know if thats true or not.

With a stock gear your car should be able to do the the said 12.9x (with the stock longblock)

I heard from a friend whom he told the story too that he was at full boost when he took off, and also that he said hes never going to try and race me again. haha
