Hi all,
So I just put a new forged 355 in my t/a and I am trying to crank it for the first time today. I got it to the point where the starter will turn over once or twice but it quickly loses power (even while being charged). I then noticed that the drivers side copper ground wire from my ignition coil was getting hot and literally pulling itself towards my msd ignition coil. I have this wire grounded to the frame with two other grounds. Not quite sure where to go from here, does this copper wire need a separate ground?
I have attached a picture to help explain, the question marks indicate where there is some uncertainty as I have the shared ground location secured as in the picture.
