tpi longtube headers are like 300 bucks cheaper wonder if they would fit

yeah they look similar,but i never heard of tpi headers being used on a lt1 before

Hrmm..........

I'm gonna guess and say they will bolt right in. A SBC (TPI L98) from a C4 Vette is nearly identical to an LT1 C4 Vette. The external ports on the heads are identical in location and bolt pattern. Go for it! The only problem I see that you MAY have, is if the headers are for a '96 Vette which is OBDII and needs an extra oxygen sensor.

They should fit without problems...the only thing i see being a problem will be the extra o2 bung and the airtube from the back of the intake so if you delete the EGR and AIR
you should be golden

TPI vette heads are D port heads just like Lt1 heads TPI has 58cc and Lt1 has 54cc

Thirdgen(82-92) f-body lt1 swaps use sbc(tpi) headers, these are the guidelines those swaps go by for headers:
1. Headers must have 1 5/8" primaries or larger
2. You drill an extra hole for an O2 bung to be welded in for the 2nd O2 sensor. You can get an O2 bung from summitracing.com.

Hole crap so far I have had to pull the starter ac compreser will have to drop the trans oh I also had to pull the oil dip stick but looks like they will fit

They fit on perfect just had to add o2 bungs
