My current build is a 95 9C1 hipo caprice. Formaly B/W state cruiser. Old engine showed signs of a hard life, low oil pressure. And had trans rebuilt still not right crappy 4l60e! Best time was 15.8 at 88mph. So it was time for a rebuild. Stroked an poked 4 bolt vette block to a 383. Forged eagle crank, eagle H-beam rods w/ L19 bolts, 16cc dish mahle pistons, eagle billet caps. AFR 210cc 65cc chamber heads. Front mount GT42 turbo shootin for 12-15 psi and 750-800 hp.:metal:

It looks like you'll be running about 9-9.5/1 compression depending on your head gasket choice. That's a bunch for 15# of boost. It's possible but maybe a little high on the compression. I have a Impala and have 410 RWHP and I was thinking about a twin turbo setup also. Sounds like that car would be a hoot to drive. Good luck.

I'll love to see this build up.

Thanks for all the intrest already! Got a th400 going behind it. Compression should be 9.5:1 I've seen a few guys running tht much on 15lbs. Eg: GM high tech magazine right now has a twin Turbo camaro running 9.5 an 15lbs on 93 Oct. Reason for little higher than normal 8.5-9 so street driving wont be a turd wth low boost. Wut you guys think about a edl Victor efi intake? And cam size?
