So, as most of you know I finally got to bid on the 95 LT1 caprice at work..... not sure how long bidding will be open. However, I am still bored and want more toys.... with PAUL finding that great deal on the red Trans Am, I began scouring CL looking for a deal as well.... I may have found it!!!


I finally got a response last night from the guy, and his answer to WHATS YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR was;
"The engine was running rough and idling heavy. As of yesterday, it will not start. It turns over but won't ignite. I'm taking best offer if you're interested"

So I wrote him back, that since its not running anymore I would offer $500.00

He wrote me back that he had someone comming to look at it tomorrow (now today) and if they are not interested, Its mine.

1994 Pontiac Trans Am. V-8, 350 LT1 Engine. Automatic. Mileage 100,450 original miles. Brand new brakes. Inspection good thru 10/2011. A few dings in the paint and rear. This would make a great restoration project for a collector.

Im figuring prob something ignition related or fuel pump if it was running like crap then got to the point of cranking but not firing....

I too am lookng at another project since i have a vintage 1956 265 V8 with a 'Glide on it sitting in the barn. Needless to say it is NOT another LT1. NEVER AGAIN!!

not just the opti. I see the future and it is not LTx. Granted they are getting cheap, but the support is not there like LSx and even the old gen 1 SBC's. I also like to mix it up, hecne the werid collection i am amassing..

gotta tell you... Im in a position where LTX parts are extremly available...EVERYWHERE i look, I see LTX parts available.... its a driver and its gonna remain simple.

This is a 1994 Pontiac Trans Am with a blown engine.
Lt1 with lt4 hot cam kit 6:1 rockers. Pacesetter longtube headers 3" Y pipe flowmaster catback.
Aluminum drive shaft. Rear end is out of a 2002 camaro converted over to work in my 94 TA gear ratio 3:42.
Built transmission 4L60E sunshell the beast bigger gear bands Servo kit bigger valve body shift kit.
Nitrous kit wet kit 20 pound bottle aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
Firehawk Ram air engine lid and ram air c4 air box very hard to find both airbox and lid sell for $1500 on Ebay.
$1200 or best offer.
