So many people have stories of how they met their spouse. Here's mine, and I can't be happier that it was ultimatly my LT1 Z28 that brought us together.

So there I was, the standard for me at the time, under the hood replacing the opti. As I was removing the waterpump I realized that one of the waterpump bolts was getting stripped from all the times I replaced my opti (it was about the 5th time due to the pin in the 1993 cam grinding out my 1995 opti that I was un-aware of at the time). I managed to successfully remove the damaged bolt and I went to the nearest local hardware store to find its replacement. When the automatic doors opened to the stoor, there she was, a beautiful blonde hottie who smiled at me and asked me what she could help me with. After finding a new replacement bolt and kicking the current employee off the register so she could "check me out", I left with my new piece to my Z. When I got home and I started wrenching under the hood again, I realized she had been flirting with me. So, I ended up going back and asking her out the next week. We've been together ever since. It took years before I realized she would be the future Mrs CALL911, but I eventaully came to my senses.

Amazing that our cars are so much more to us than just transportation!

She is indeed! She has taken the Formula to the track more than once.

Her ideal car is one that is loud and has such a big cam that it sounds like the car is going to die in between lobes at idle.

I think I may have an old video somewhere of me in my Z at the track vs her in our old 94 Formula back when my Z was N/A. If anyones interested I'll try to dig it up.

Thats awesome! Although my passion for going fast may be the reason I never get married.

All my 'maro has done for me is speeding and noise tickets and the occasional smack from the wif for driving like an "ass-hole?" When she drives it every lil ricer boy likes to try to rev at her. She's only messed with one seems he was a big ol' ass muncher driving an oversized woopy cushion... My mother-in-law uses it when she's late to work... I think she just likes to go fast from time to time... lol
