Alternative to efi 24x
http://www.torqhead.com/how-it-works.html
Was told about this today. Looks like a viable alternative to efi connection setup. Approx 1500 bucks all in and all external, no need to modify engine. Thoughts?

No, I was already having my rotating assembly rebalanced before I found this kit...he sent me a hub ASAP so that I could have it when I was ready to balance.

Has anyone thought of using the MSD 6LS ignition box that is made to drive the coils on the gen 3 series engines on an LT1? I would think you could leave the opti in place to report cam position to the ecm for fueling, then the 24x reluctor to fire the coils....

Yea. Only thing I'm seeing as a problem is sending the msd box a 1x cam signal. Could use the efi connection 1x cam sensor that goes in the place of the opti but then you lose the lt1 cam and crank signal to fire injectors. ..

Would a dual sync distributor work? Heard of em for megasquirt and stuff, never actually used one though.
