    The mid plate and bell housing is different on ls t56 that I know of for sure but faceplated unsure of

    @Hillbilly90 The short answer is you are removing the synchronizers to make WOT shifting easier. Not something that is generally recommended for the street.

    Do a google search, a lot of good info out there as it's a fairly common procedure for people who want to retain the t56 but make it better for racing.

    Ah ok thank you learning new stuff since I now have an f body I bought a block from stormy69 since he literally lives 2 blocks from me and is an awesome guy he was stationed in idaho with me now I live in idaho

    Are you still Looking for a t56? I have one that was pulled from my 95 Z-28 with shy of 100k Miles, never had any issues with it. Was stored in a heated garage for 1 1/2 years. I was looking for around $1500 for it. Im in northeast ohio I haven't really looked into shipping cost though.
