Oh yes! We had a ton of snow though, and it has just recently melted so most of the streams are still blown out and muddy. My friends with boats are hitting the lower Niagara River and doing very well.

My friend Joe has a charter boat. He was out today and did very well.

that's a nice fish.. what are they running wiggle warts? Our snow melted pretty much all last week. .. Hoping they should be half way clear by now.

Egg sacks. Right at that picture the current is ripping about 4-5mph. They cruise way up, then just shut the boat off and drift for a mile, keeping the bait near the bottom. They use the same technique in the fall but they use kwikfish (crankbait). Right now the water is so cold (34-35) that the fish won't aggressively take any action type lures.

Headed out today to a smaller creek. Managed to land one decent steelhead. About 6-7lbs and 26" or so. Hard to get a good pic, he was uncooperative lol.

Ok, don't flame me, but does anyone watch river monsters? I cannot believe the Muskie he landed on that light freaking tackle in last nights show.
