The LT1 Fbodies are not appreciating in value, yet. I think we are about 5-10 years away from that. With that being said, the value of parts have remained pretty steady versus the LS cars which dropped significantly. At least this is the case in my area where I bought and sold many LTx/LSx parts in the last few years.
I think the price is a tad high on the LT car. I bought my T/A for 5k in 2006 with 66k on it. If I left it stock with the current mileage (80k) and it ran/drove, I'd be lucky to get 3500-4k on Craigslist/FB Groups. With high mile LS cars being in the sub-5k range, the LT platform is less to be desired.
GL with the checkout & purchase. Hopefully it's clean, well maintained, and stayed clear of the PA winter road conditions. They are the true gems to find.
