meh, meh, meh. 2k for full torqhead kit with tuning software. I'll go vented Delco swap before that. only reason I would want a 24x is for tuning capabilities. but I may go delteq or ltcc, I forget what @Sahara54 got

Already talked directly to Shaun but I have LTCC...I have a spare LS sitting here and it just made the most sense. Got rid of all the stumbling after revs and idle hunting. Think I have about 500 into it. LTCC was 400, LS coils and harness was a freebie, 60 for the coil brakets, and like 20 for new spark plug boots. I did swing for the Taylor spark plug wire crimper...omg best crimper ever even does regular butt connectors with the double lock crimps.

I guess if I did it Id like to completely delete the opti... But I know that would NEVER happen anyway$
Fortunately Ive never really had much trouble with them.... except for the $55 one I bought earlier this year....

Whats funny is my biggest fear is being out of town and the opti messing up, and the reason its funny is because I dont even drive my car out of town.

Although those water pump spacers someone was talking about that allows you to change the opti without removing the water pump would be sweet. I suppose you run an EWP.

I run an ewp. biggest pain in the a$$ for me is the fluidampr 1 piece damper that i have to pull completely to remove opti

now I had put this opti on to get car home from @harner house. the old motor leaked oil BAD. well I guess the rtv I put around the plug/msd oring wasn't enough to stop that gusher and oil that had gotten into it finally got into the no name summit optical sensor. I ordered an Amazon opti, will reuse msd vented cap and rotor.

i had a 96 stock Delco that worked with a mitsubishi sensor, I took it and the summit apart and swapped the sensor over (plus summit has good one piece drive assembly, not stupid driveshaft) as an absolute backup if I need it. I wish you could just buy these sensors.

and the light bulb just went off in my mind. the msd cap/rotor kit that turns your 93-94 spline drive opti into a "vented" is better than stock, but not best. I will be venting mine my way, the way I vented a stock 94 opti. that way this doesn't happen again. if it was set up the diy way with the fittings in the 3 drain holes at the bottom, the oil would've been sucked right out.
