Checked the knock sensor wire, it wasn't burnt. Went through the entire car, and could not hear any knocking or ticking, minus the valve train. I re torqued the KS to 14 lbs, and it was just as bad, if not worse (maybe its worse because I was in a garage and it was louder?)

I tried the trick to cover the ear holes of the knock module on the PCM, (after I re-torqued the knock sensor) and it was the worst of all. It basically sat at 5 degrees from when I started until I shut it off.

Would that be a sign of a bad knock sensor? I have videos of it running, and I hear no knocking (but my hearing is also bad). @LDM @gmpowered @SSlowBoat

the plastic piece on the sensor is wobbly, as well, I'm going to replace it anyways, they aren't very expensive.

Hopefully that will fix it. Might have had just enough connection on the inside still to prevent it from throwing a code and cause all the false knock.

That's what I am banking on. I figured the spark knock getting worse after I messed with it as a sign. It was basically pegged at 5 degrees even at idle now. I hope so, I want to go to the track and drag some ass.

I am having the same problem that you are. Same tuner also. It has been a problem with my old le2 set up and now my 12 to 1 tfs headed 355. It does the same on 100 octane for mine too. I tested my knock sensor with my scope and it seems to be working fine but if a new one fixes yours im gona try one too.

Well, it didn't change a thing. I still have an insane amount of knock. Time to start from square one again...and drink beer.

If it is pulling knock at idle you have somethin whacky going on, and you can tune that out. I've had to do this. Or the sensor is shot

What plugs are you using? I'd put my money on you are getting false knock somewhere since 102 octane didn't remedy the problem. Unless, you have some outrageous compression.
