What all do I need to tune a 96 with OBD1 swap?
As it states in the question. I used to have tuner cats on an old Laptop using a serial cable. however it is junk. Still have the cable and a usb convertor(To go from serial to usb) What do I need beside that? is everyone still using tunercats? If so where do I get ti and what can I get to log with? Thanks

Supporting MemberYou can just get a obd1.5 cable to usb from aldlcable.com for $30, go on tunercat.com and down load cats obd1 tuner, pay $20 for a definition file for $ EE bin. Get data master for logging, tunercat rt is glitchy at best

Look into this: http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread...light=scan9495
You won't need datamaster if you use that tool, and it has a document with it that shows you how to make yourself a usb to OBD cable for like 10 or 15 bucks. You will need the definition file and tuner cat though

Supporting MemberI didn't get a cable that worked, I had to buy jet dst for myself. I believe @popo8 was looking into getting the cable from carputing.com (lt1edit)
