Sean, I saw this one a few days ago, and wondered how fast Tanner had gone! Is this the video you saw?

Taner's and that Poco Jang blue turbo Mustang are the only two 8 second six speeds in recent history that still resembles a car that can be driven on the street. Which both are. The Honeycutt Camaro is fast but it's a full out drag car. Ain't crusin down woodward with a Two on the left like our Molson drinking pal. The Poco Jang Mustang went 8.5s, also Gary Jarvo? drove a six speed Viper that went 7.9s. Now sure how streetable that car still was, could have been though. Sal Patel was wheeling his Power Glide radial Viper on the street, not a six speed but that car went high 6s. Like Taner's car, was still very much a full factory interior car that was NHRA legal. http://www.dragzine.com/news/sal-pat...-world-record/

McNew or Roadtrip? McNew sold his years ago, the LT1 was long gone and it was either a small block or big block. Then they built that black Firebird with the F3 for ORSCA EZ Street. last I saw he was building a Mustang. Roadtrip, still has his. Not sure what he's doing with it at the moment. I am sure what ever it'll be a clean set up, hopefully he puts that unicorn block to good use.

That thing trapped in the 130s NA, pretty stout car. Amazing what he started with and the end project with that car.
